I'm happy. I finally got an idea for her past. It's something with war. I'm thinking about if it should be a war with the demon beats from NME.. but I'm not pleased with this idea. Does someone have better ideas for me who would want to steal the glowing brooch you can see in her hand? It gives you the ability to create portales and black holes, who was guarded by years.

Perhaps it's the source of her power, without it even she can't make portals or use her vantablack stuff. So, essentially, if someone wanted to defeat her for whatever reason, they'd have to steal her crystal in order to render her helpless. And if one were to steal the crystal, they'd inherit the ability to make portals themselves. Hell, maybe the crystal originates from somewhere else and she obtained it somehow (maybe she was gifted it, or stole it from someone else who the crystal belonged to, or took it from some sacred place) and uses it for herself which could explain how she has portals and such in the first place. Voila. I dunno. XD And if you want to incorporate NME and stuff, maybe Nightmare heard about the crystal and wants it to give his demonbeasts the ability to make portals so he can take over the universe faster and be a bigger pain in the ass. So he learned that Vanta has it and he's all like "Get her, nyahaha," and stuff. XDD I dunno. That's my take on it.
OR!!!!!! Maybe the crystal is sentient and she's its guardian. And in return for its protection, it gave her the ability to use vantablack. Hell, she could exist solely as its protector and has always been its protector. And once NME found interest in the crystal for similar reason I mentioned already, she's like "aww, hell nah!" and then some war against her broke out and shit went down!!!! Waaaaaahhhhh! YAS!!
Ooooo.... she could have been born into existence just to protect the crystal whose energy she was named after. Lalalallalalalalalallala!
And it could totally speak to her and stuff. XD I dunno. "Whisper stop editing this damn comment." I'm sorry. ;w;
